Once upon a time, there was an alien who was just flying around in space with nothing better to do with himself when he spotted a big blue planet in an insignificant system off in the distance. The alien having nothing better to do with his time decided that this big blue planet would be a wonderful place to make a pit stop. So he set a course for the big blue planet and steered the ship in the general direction of this rest stop in space.

The time to reach the planet was neither too long nor was it too short but it was just the right amount of time. The gravitational field was neither too strong nor was it too weak but it was just right. And entering the atmosphere was neither too bumpy nor was it too smooth but it too was just right.

So the alien flew about looking for a groovy place in which to make his pit stop. He flew over cities and towns which were far too crowded for any amount of privacy. He flew over oceans and deserts which were open for any privacy. And finally he flew over a housing development which offer just the right amount of privacy being neither too crowded nor too open but being just right.

The alien who had rather large eyes, a somewhat grayish complexion, and a rather featureless face set his little ship down in a cul de sac in the middle of the plan. He exited his ship and set out for a conveniently placed row of hedges in which he could do his business. From behind the conveniently placed row of hedges, the alien could see up the street a wee li'l lass tormenting her brother and sister and he thought back on his childhood (or in this case, alienhood) and how his brother and sister (or whatever the alien term is for siblings of the male and female variety) had tormented him to no end, so much so that he was forced to leave his home planet and journey to the far reaches of the universe looking for some relief from the torment. And he had an idea, if he could take Li'l Aubrey back to his home planet, she could torment his brother and sister so much so that they'd leave him alone forever.

Back to the ship the alien went. "How do I go about this plan," he asked himself. And then a bolt of lightning struck him about the head, a ray of inspiration, he could leave an identical looking alien monster baby in her place since most folks (aliens included) frown upon taking stuff from other planets without first asking for permission.

He exited the ship and strolled up the street with the alien monster baby under his arm and made his way to the yard in which the three young humans were playing with two of them being tormented by third relatively larger human. He asked larger (relatively speaking) human if she would like to see the alien monster baby which he had under his arm.

She said, "Yes."

He showed her the alien monster baby which she thought looked familiar but wasn't quite sure why. He set the alien monster baby down and picked up Li'l Aubrey and ran back to the ship.

The human brother and sister didn't realize that anything was out of the ordinary until it dawned on them that the tormenting had stopped for some reason.

And Li'l Aubrey found herself on a strange new planet with a new alien brother and sister with which she could torment until finally they left their home and set out on a voyage to find some peace and quiet.

With her newly adopted brother and sister gone, Li'l Miss Aubrey turned her attention to the alien who brought her to this new planet. And the alien found himself being tormented by his new friend who was supposed to be a playmate for his brother and sister but who had done her job all too well driving his brother and sister from the planet.

Then the light bulb went on.

"I have to get Li'l Miss Aubrey back to her own planet and bring the alien monster baby back here," the light bulb glowed.

And that he did.

Sort of.

When he arrived back at the housing plan on the big blue planet, the alien monster baby didn't want to go and the human siblings wouldn't let her even if she did.

So the alien, Li'l Miss Aubrey, the alien monster baby, and the human siblings all lived relatively happily ever after in the housing plan on the big blue planet...

THE END!
