Steve's Honey Amber

Description:

This was my first batch! After 3 weeks in the bottles it took on an apple-like taste, but it has since diminished. I was surprised just how good this got after sitting around for 2 months. The longer the wait, the better! Crystal clear and light.

Brewing Instructions:

Bring 2 gallons of water to a boil. Remove from heat. Add Northwestern extract, 1 oz. Willamette hops, bittering extract, then the honey. Return to heat. Boil for 30 minutes. Allow to cool to 100 degrees and add to 3 gallons cold water. When temperature is less than 80 degrees, pitch your yeast.
