Altbier(A.37):
Used in,you guessed it,Altbier.Has a very distinct characteristic.
American ale(A.01):
Can be used in barley-wine,brown ale,i.p.a.,pale ale,porters,and stuot.
Neutral in flavour.
Bavarian Weizen(A.50):
Use in weizen and weizenbock.Leaves cloves an banana esters.
Belgian Ale(A.36):
Gee what can we use this in.Belgian Ales maybe?Gives a fruity aroma.
Belgian Wit(A.35):
To be used in white(Wit) beer.This strain compliments corriander
and orange.
English Ale(A.15):
Can be used in IPA,pale ale,brown ale,bitters,or any ale.A complex
taste and strong yeast flavours.
English Barleywine(A.08):
Use this one in barleywine.It leaves a residual sweetness.
German Ale(A.04):
A good choice to use in Kolsch,cream,or German ales.Ferments clean
and leaves a light body beer.
Irish Ale(A.13):
Use this one in porters,stouts,and imperial stout.Gives a nutty,woody
flavour.
Scotch Ale(A.34):
You can get good results from this in barleywine,scotch,scottish,
and strong ales.
Stout Ale(A.06):
Good in stouts,porters,and imperial stout.
Trappe Ale(A.16):
Use this one in Trappist ale.Has typical trappist aromas which are hard
to explaine.
Lager Yeast
German Lager(L.09):
Style to use this in is lagers andbocks.Used in most German breweries.
Pilsner Lager(L.17):
Use in American lagers and pilsners.This is extremely clean and malty.
Special Purpose Yeast
Champagne(W06):
To be used in meads,strong beer,and wine.Very alcohol tolerant.
