What I Had
Description:
Well I had some leftovers from prior batches and had to do something with them. This is what come out. It really wasn't too bad.

Ingredients:
- 2 oz.Dextrine
- 2 oz. Caravienna
- 2 oz.Victory
- 2 oz.Aromatic
- 4 oz.Caramunich
- 2 oz.Special B
- 4 oz.Vienna
- 2 0z.Flaked maize
- 1 1/4 lb.Scottish 2-row
- 1 lb.American 2-row
- 1/3 oz.Cluster hop pelets
- 2/3 oz.Crystall hop pelets
- 1/2 oz.Cascade hop pelets
- 1 tsp.Irish moss
- Wyeast 1056 (Made a starter)
- 1 tsp.Polyclar
- 1/3 cup Corn sugar
- 2 tsp.Yeast neutriants
Brewing Instructions:
Step mash all grains starting at 122f for 20 min.Raise temp. to 150f for
30 min.Then raise to 158f for 30 min.Test for startch conversion with iodine.
Sparge with 150f water.Boil for 60 min. adding clusters and neutriants at
start of boil.After 20 min. add cascades.After 40 min. add crystalls and irish
moss.Cool to 80 and pitch yeast starter.Ferment as noted below.
Fermentation:
- 1 week @ 60F
- Secondary: 1 week @ 60F with Polyclar
- O.G.-Couldn't take it.I broke my hydrometer.
