Yes this is a white beer.A friend of mine stopped by and gave me a hand with this one along with some other things.I believe we have a convert here. White beer hmm.I cut the corriander back some because I'm not a real big fan of it and added some other things to it that I thought would give it the taste I was looking for.The gravity and alcohol was way high for a white but thats what honey will do.With a gravity that high it has to sit for a while to condition properly.This was also entered in the Hops Bops and scored a 27 out of 50. They said that if it wasn't as old it would have scored way higher and possibly even a ribon.
Glutamine rest at 95f. for 10 min.Raise to 122f. for 30min.Raise to 145 for 45min.Raise to 155f. for 45min.Raise to 168f for 10.Sparge this only 4 times and accumulate 4 gallons of wort.Boil this for 60 min. adding 1/2oz. of the hops at the beggining of the boil.After 30 min. add the rest of the hop.After 45 min.add the Irish moss,Orange peels,corriander,elder flowers and the honey.Cool and pitch yeast.
