Nancy Al Coda

Nancy started out as an NPC, the oldest of the orphanage children and the one who took care of everything when Josie and Eternus were at a gathering. I retired Girnish Tan, my Welsh Nosferatu, and there was a lot going on in my life. I just wanted to relax and play an easy, submissive character. As the player of Josie had brought her back after nearly a year, she suggested I bring Nancy in as a ghoul. The rest is history.

Interestingly enough, none of the stuff I wrote for Nancy happened at games, even though I played her for nearly six months. Although Swarthmore is now Sabbat, I know that the Swarthmore Orphanage is still there, or still somewhere, with Josie, Nancy, Eternus, and the children. And these days when friends have grown up and moved on, even moved away, the idea that little IC place still exists is something, at least.

Whispers

First Kiss

Another Chronicle that occurs out-of-game, this was one of my favorite to write, and certainly the one I re-read the most. Nancy and Jonathan meet again and let me just say for the record that she had the Flaw: Potent Blood.

Songs In the Hall of Shadows

The conclusion of the trilogy, this is the longest of the three and the most involved. I think I like the surprise ending the best...although, IC, the events of this story changed Swarthmore history and lead to the deaths of Kindred, though no one would ever know.

Overscript

Picking up a few months after the last Chronicle, we see Nancy trying to adjust to life again, and recieve a shocking blast from the past as she and Josie try to uncover the secrets of the song.

De Capo Al Coda

The title of this is a play on words with Josie's chosen family name. In sheet music, Al Coda means 'go to the Coda', the Coda being a second and usually different ending of the piece played after the 1st repeat. De Capo Al Coda means 'go back to the beginning and play until the Coda'; an apt title, as events bring the Orphanage characters full circle.
