Pups at Blue Hills Heelers

2001 Litter

Blue Hills Heelers' 2001 litter of Blue Heelers (Australian Cattle Dogs) was born on May 2, 2001. Their Dam is Blue Hills Nellie. Their Sire is Blue Hills Tex. The pups of this litter of 6 included 4 males and 2 females. The pups included 3 males with a "half mask"on the left, 1 male with a small "eye mask"on the left, 1 female with a tiny "eye mask" on the left, and 1 female with no mask. Heeler pups are born pure white and begin to "color" at about four weeks of age. All our dogs have the "Blue" body coat.

Pup #1 (SOLD) - A male with a half mask on the left. He was of larger size within the litter and exhibited conformation and markings similar to his sire (a "sturdy" bone structure and a dark blue body color.) He was very alert and curious, one of the first to come when called, and one of the first pups to bark at strange noises outside of his kennel, all signs of good intelligence. He enjoys the company of people and has matured into an active family pet and working dog.

Pup #2 (SOLD) -
A male pup with a half mask who was "almost" a twin to Pup #1. He has a high energy level and has matured into a pet for a large, active family.

Pup #3 (SOLD) -
A male with a half mask on the left, covering eye and cheek. He was the second smallest pup in the litter. He has always been healthy and has grown into a strong dog. With a "sweet" personality and quiet disposition, he has matured into a relatively mellow-tempered dog that loves affection, a good choice as a family pet.

Pup #4 (SOLD) -
A male with a "patch" around his left eye. His body coat is light blue with some speckling on the face, paws and body. He was of medium size within the litter. He has an active personality. As a pup, he enjoyed lying on his back with his legs in the air and having his tummy petted. He has grown into a dog that has formed an affectionate and loyal attachment to his owner.

Pup #5 (SOLD) -
A female with no mask and a tiny black "circle" around her left eye. She was medium size in the litter and has a feminine build. She was a lively pup whose antics were sometimes comical. Her personality is well-suited as a pet for an active athletic family that likes a more energentic dog and has lots of room for the dog to run and play.

Pup #6 (SOLD) -
A female with no mask. She was the smallest pup in the litter, with a temperament and conformation similar to her dam (a refined bone structure and slightly smaller size, characteristic of the "Queensland" variety of Australian Cattle Dog.) Her body color is somewhat lighter than that of her litter mates. Her energy level was medium within the litter. With her even personality and enjoyment of being petted and fussed over, she has matured into a playful, even-tempered, pet for a family with children.
