Save Our Souls-SOS Children's Villages of Pakistan

SOS Pakistan founded in 1975, today runs over a dozen children's villages all across the country and is mainly dependent on grants and funds from Government and Social sector alike. Public involvement in these villages has been tremendous and awareness ever increasing in our society.

Major Villages are located in cities of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Faisalabad, Abbottabad, Sargodha, Kasur, Dhodial, Multan and Muzaffarabad. 4 more villages are being established in cities of Sialkot, Hyderabad, Peshawar and Mirpur. The National Zakat Foundation and the Agha Khan Foundation among others are actively involved through generous fundings of these projects.

Embassies of Japan and many European Countries have over the years extended financial assistence to SOS villages while many local diplomats and their wives actively participate in Fundraising and public awareness programmes.

VERDICT

For any person with even little family values, these under-privileged children demand atleast some form of support at any level. All SOS Villages accept your donations in form of Money, Clothing, Food Items, Children's Books and Toys and even Living Shelters in form of participation in Home construction in the village. You can even sponsor your favourite child and look after their needs while they live at SOS village, you can become a part of thier lives, their dreams and ambitions!

They are there in your cities, share your times but not that luck maybe... They are there for you to help, in any way you can, in every way you can, the least you can give is a humble pat on the head or a loving smile just to show there is someone in this world who cares for them!
