This kennel story, like this kennel, is always a work in progress, so check back now and then.

Welcome to Liz-Clare's Pomeranian Kennel, part of The Cyber Pet Game. We are a kennel devoted to the Pomeranian, a spunky little spitz-type toy breed. Our ideal pom is compact, thickly coated, with small, teddy-like ears, an excellent tailset and great movement. We breed for excellence, and will settle for nothing less!

Liz-Clare's was founded in June of 1999 with the intention of introducing pomeranians into AG. Since then we've been joined by several other breeders who are also striving for excellence! On these pages you can read about our dogs, what's going on with them, and current litters. I also offer a few services within the realm of the game, including graphics, and handling. Look through it now, or read about our kennel, below.

The Kennel Itself

We recently "moved in" to a new kennel for our family. We needed more room for the poms, jacks and two cockers. So we constructed a special kennel just for them. Have a look at the kennel.

I am the founder & president of AG's Cyber Pomeranian Club. I also judge all-breed dog shows and activity trials at Naamanside Gardens. In addition I'm happy to allow people to use me as a handler for their dogs in AG in exchange for the handling of mine. If you'd like to work something out, e-mail me.

Breeding & Goals

My main goal is to produce a pomeranian as close to the ideal specimen of the breed as possible. Great type, good color, plentiful coat, and good movement are what I look for in a breeding pom. While color isn't my main focus, I do produce my share of both exotic and "traditional" colors. Most of my poms are sable, black, or black & tan but I do have a few nontraditional colors such as brindle, parti color, merle, and chocolate. For the time being I'm working mainly with the traditional colors, brindle, and chocolate, with the occasional parti litter, and, very seldom, a merle litter.

From Foundation To Future

Liz-Clare's foundation is based mainly on three dogs. The first is my foundation bitch, ROMCh. Ch. Liz-Clare's Classical Music ROMX. "Cassie" as she is known was a very typey orange sable girl. She threw several big-time winners, as well as successful studs, and she is behind many of my dogs. Both of her two litters were sired by Ch. Liz-Clare's Damn'd If I Do ROM, aka Drew, a lovely little black & tan guy. I consider these two to be my foundation bitch & sire. Their kids include BIS BISS NCh. Ch. Liz-Clare's Hot Damn Here I Am AX UD "Crew", BIS BISS NCh. Ch. Liz-Clare's I Do What I Wanna ROM "Ophelia", BIS BISS Ch. Liz-Clare's Rock Alternative "Aletta", and BISS Ch. Liz-Clare's Rock N Tradition ROM "Trey". Crew & Ophelia were #1 All-Breeds in consecutive years, while Aletta was a BIS winner, and Trey a top sire. Drew & Ophelia have so far produced 8 Champions for Liz-Clare as well as many Ch. grandkids as well. As you can see, they also have two children who have earned ROM's themselves!

The third dog that is mainly behind my poms is Ch. Gidget's Just One Look ROM "Jake". No one could wish for a better sire! He was originally owned by Mary of Gidget Kennels and later by me. Even before I owned him, Mary allowed me to use him on some of my girls. He has sired 9 Champions to date, four out of Ch. Gidget's Sky Ryder of Pride ROM. His get includes BIS BISS Ch. Gidget's Can You Dazzle-Me ROM, also an incredible sire who I use often, and BIS Ch. Liz-Clare's Things R Look N Up. Due to his being cream he also threw chocolate & blue kids, and some of these color genes were passed onto his other kids. He is partly responsible for the wide color possibilities in my poms.

Ch. Gidget's Hot Gossip ROM was sort of a "second foundation bitch" for Liz-Clare's. She gave us four fantastic litters of beautiful pom puppies. She is a granddaughter of my Cassie and Drew via Ch. Liz-Clare's Hot Damn Here I Am. Her first litter was a single black puppy, BIS Ch. Liz-Clare's Things R Look N Up, sired by Ch. Gidget's Just One Look. "Jameson" is a knockout puppy and is becoming a strong sire as well. Her second litter gave us 12 beautiful puppies, sired by her uncle Ch. Liz-Clare's Rock N Tradition. She has produced many Ch's for Liz-Clare's. One was our best male yet, Ch. Liz-Clare's Innuendo N Tradition. She also produced a lovely black & tan girl, Ch. Liz-Clare's Let Rumors Fly, who gave us a very colorful litter recently. Her third litter was a breeding to Ch. Liz-Clare's Can You Razzle-Dazzle, which produced our lovely black & tan male Ch. Liz-Clare's Talking Gibberish. Her last litter was a breeding to a grandson, Ch. Liz-Clare's Black Track Tradition, and produced our lovely black & tan brindle girl, Liz-Clare's Wheel of Fire.

Two of our other great sires were BISS Ch. Liz-Clare's Rock N Tradition ROM "Trey" and BIS BISS NCh. Ch. Gidget's Can You Dazzle-Me ROM. Trey is a Cassie/Drew son who has sired many beautiful puppies for Liz-Clare's, several of which have finished. His offspring vary from our gorgeous sable boy Ch. Liz-Clare's Innuendo N Tradition to our brindle bitch, Ch. Liz-Clare's Brindle N Tradition. Daz is a "Jake" son bred by Mary who also sired some beautiful puppies, in a variety of colors too. He has 8 champions so far. He produces a variety of colors, having a chocolate champion daughter, three blue sons, and several partis, such as Ch. Paigee's Razzle-Dazzle, a sable parti, and her brother Ch. Paigee's Never Say Never, a tri.

Ch. Liz-Clare's Black Track Tradition "Tracker" and Ch. Liz-Clare's Talking Gibberish "Gibbs" are two boys who are up & coming sires with some great get on the ground so far. Things are looking good and soon they will have many champions to their credit!

This lovely girl is "Fancy", Ch. Liz-Clare's Flight of Fancy. Her pedigree includes many of the dogs above. Her sire is Ch. Paigee's Never Say Never, a black & tan parti sired by Daz (who is sired by Jake), and her dam is Ch. Liz-Clare's Let Rumors Fly, a Gabby daughter sired by Trey. Cassie & Drew appear in her 3rd & 4th generations. She is also one of our first puppies to have a full 3-generation pedigree. We have high hopes for this one =)

Exotic Colors

Initially I was going to breed ONLY orange, sable, and black & tan. However when I came across a beautiful white, Cupid's Sugar N Spice, and wolf sable, Ch. Cupid's Dream Maker, that were available, I could hardly resist! I eventually bred both. The white produced one litter, one of which finished, but I decided not to breed from any of them. The wolf sable was bred to my BIS BISS Ch. Liz-Clare's Boyish Charm, producing my black "Fiona" BIS BISS Ch. Liz-Clare's Dream A Little Dream. Fiona hasn't produced any wolf sables but she DID surprise me with a blue and some blue masked sable puppies. Her son Ch. Liz-Clare's Walkin On Thin Ice, the first blue Ch., recently finished. Her daughter, Ch. Liz-Clare's Walkin In The Dark is also very lovely and carries blue! I'm planning to breed Fiona one last time to our Ch. Indy, since their sable puppies would carry wolf sable, and I'm going to breed her daughter Kayleigh to Jameson (a Jake son who carries blue), in effort to get some blues. Also Paige has a Jake grandson, Ch. Paigee's Magical Moment aka "Cally", who has produced blues! One of his daughters is Paigee's Waiting In The Blue, a blue & tan who I bought.

Later came my chocolate "Daynah", Ch. Ashley's Carpe Diem. She is an exceptional pom, regardless of color. I have two Ch. kids from her, both chocolate, Ch. Liz-Clare's Poetry In Motion and Ch. Liz-Clare's Commotion In Motion (owned by Paige). Daynah was later bred to Ch. Paigee's Ice producing four more chocolate puppies, one of which is Ch. Liz-Clare's Double Fudge. She is now living the good life as a retired pet! Fudge has sired a few chocolate puppies out of Jake descendants. I produced another chocolate when I bred Ch. Gidget's Can You Dazzle-me (a black "Jake" son) to his half sister, Ch. Gidget's Look to the Sky. She was Ch. Liz-Clare's Devil's Food, but is now in a pet home. I bred Daynah's daughter Peyton to our Ch. James. I kept the black bitch puppy, Ch. Liz-Clare's Waxing Poetic. A breeding of her to Ch. Liz-Clare's Talking Gibberish produced a surprise, a chocolate puppy. This I attribute to Jake who is Gibbs' great-grandsire.

Brindle & merle are my most challenging colors, since I only had 1 of each to start with. The merle was of particularly questionable quality! But by breeding them to some of my nicer boys, I am slowly developing quality in these colors. Ch. Liz-Clare's Rock N Tradition was bred to a lovely brindle, Ch. Shangri-La Chasin Waterfalls, which produced Ch. Liz-Clare's Brindle N Tradition (a brindle). "Brynne" I bred to Ch. James but they had only black puppies! (I jokingly named one Liz-Clare's Look No Brindles Here... she is owned by Paige) I kept their son Ch. Liz-Clare's Black Track Tradition. He produces brindle, and has a black & tan brindle daughter, Liz-Clare's Wheel of Fire, and another named Mystic's Right to the Point (bred by EmilyG). I bred Faelan (my original brindle girl) to Ch. Liz-Clare's Innuendo N Tradition which produced a LOVELY brindle boy, Ch. Liz-Clare's Brindle Ain't Bad. I am trying to improve on my merle bitch by breeding my merle "Melody" to my Ch. James. Unfortunately I haven't gotten any female puppies from them yet! But Paige owned their son, Ch. Liz-Clare's Lookat The Water, so I bred him to my Fiona daughter, Ch. Liz-Clare's Walking In The Dark, and got an orange with a blue eye (which means she carries merle)--Liz-Clare's Phoenix Rising. Watch out for her, she's a looker!

I also dabble a little in partis. Ch. Trey (Rock N Tradition) was once bred to Ch. Paigee's Everything Nice (a white) which produced some nice parti kids, including Ch. Heartland's Ain't Misbehavin, who Paige owns. I also let Paige breed her parti bitch Ch. The Meadows' Jamais Vu to Daz, which produced some very nice parti kids, including Ch. Paigee's Razzle Dazzle. She was bred to Will, a James son owned by EmilyG, which produced Ch. Liz-Clare's Truly Madly Deeply. True was then bred to Ch. Liz-Clare's Talking Gibberish which gave me a CHOCOLATE & TAN PARTI!! named Liz-Clare's Last Best Hope. I also bred Dazy's full brother, a tricolor named Sayward, to my Ch. Liz-Clare's Let Rumors Fly. They are the parents of an orange girl, Ch. Liz-Clare's Flight of Fancy, and a tricolor boy, Liz-Clare's Hats Off To Larry.

Runhill Jack Russell Terriers

Fiesty terriers and fluffy froo-froo dogs don't mix, you say? Guess again! Sure the jacks like to play a little rough but just TRY and tell Ophelia she can't keep up with them. My adventure with Jack Russells began with Ch. Maybee's Lord Jerat and Ch. Oreo, two jack russells I got from the HS. These two boys were just the beginning, I also got another male, Ch. Darwin and a bitch, Ch. Josie. These were the only Jack Russells in the game for quite a while. Fortunately Josie is a SUPERB example of the breed, so I hope I can improve the jacks' quality gradually. My very first litter consisted of 8 JRT babies. I kept one bitch, Ch. Liz-Clare's Runhill Regina, and sold her brother, Ch. Liz-Clare's Runhill Rocketeer, to EmilyG on a stud agreement. Two other puppies finished. I later bred Regina to Jerat, producing Liz-Clare's Runhill Rosalyn, and also bred Jerat to a bitch I acquired, Ch. ILuvAminals Peggy.

EmilyG is the co-breeder at Runhill JRT's. We exchange puppies and stud services, both using Runhill in the names of our jack puppies. If she bred the puppy, it is Mystic's Runhill.... etc, if I bred it, it will be Liz-Clare's Runhill... etc.

After 5 years "game time" of breeding jacks, I have decided they're no longer the breed for me. My jack program has been passed on to Shalen.

Liz-Clare's Cresteds

Liz-Clare's has recently added four chinese cresteds to our ranks. EmilyG is co-breeding again with us in this endeavor. Watch this space for more info!
