Chapter 12

"These voices, these voices, I hear them. And when they talk..."~Eminem, "Guilty Conscience"

Reva hadn't forgotten about making Taylor pay for dumping her for that Katie girl. That's why she was in Tulsa Airport browsing the shops while waiting for her flight. She picked up a slinky red tube dress in the Gucci outlet. "Perfect," she thought to herself.

"Can I Help you, miss?" asked a sales lady.

"Yes, I'd like to try this on."

"Sure thing. Follow me," the lady said and started walking in the direction of the fitting rooms. She unlocked one for Reva, and Reva stepped inside and tried on the dress. It fit perfectly.

"How's it going in there?" called the lady.

"Good," Reva said and came out of the room. "What do you think?"

"That dress is so you."

"Thanks. I'll take it."

"Okay, ma'am, I'll ring that up for you."

Reva puy her own clothes back on and took the dress to the register. She handed the sales lady her credit card to take care of the $150 bill. Reva then took her bag and made her way to the terminal.

"Flight 555 to Pittsburgh now boarding," came a voice on the intercom. Reva boarded the plane and was soon on her way to reek havoc on Taylor and Katie's lives.

Around noon that day Isaac knocked on the bedroom door. "Zac, are you awake?" he called.

"Ugh!" came the reply. Zac was up, barely. Isaac opened the door and walked into the room.

"How are you doing?" he asked Zac.

"Hangovers suck!"

"Well, yeah."

"Ike?"

"Yeah?"

"Never let me have another drink again."

Isaac laughed. "I think you've learned your lesson, Zac."

"I better be learning my lesson because like I said, this sucks."

The phone rang.

"I'm gonna get that. Will you be okay?"

"Yup."

Isaac waked into the kitchen and picked up the phone. "Hello?"

"Hey, Ike."

"Hi, Fiona!"

"How was that party last night?"

"Well, Zac had a little episode, but other than that it was okay."

"What'd he do this time?"

"Got drunk and did drunk things. Enough said. Right now he's in bed with a hangover."

"Poor kid."

"Yeah. So, what are you doing today?"

"I dunno. Nothing probably."

"Why don't you and Kaite come over?"

"Okay. What time?"

"About three?" Isaac asked looking at his watch. It was 12:30 now.

"That's good. I'll call Katie. See ya, Ike."

"Later, babe," he said and hung up the phone. He looked around at the room to see what he'd need to clean up. There was a lot. The kitchen sink was full of dirty dishes, and there were piles of clothes and towels everywhere.

"Taylor, can you come give me a hand with thses dishes?"

"Why do I have to do the dishes? I don't even live here!" said Taylor entering the room. Nether the less, he picked up a towel.

"Bacause your girlfriend is coming over in like two hours and this place is a mess."

"Katie's coming?"

"Yeah, Fiona too."

"Oh."

"You don't sound too happy about that."

"It's just that I still have a guilty conscience about Reva."

"You'll get over it."

"But if I don't tell someone about it I'm going to burst!"

"So tell Fiona."

"She'll tell Katie!"

"Not if you tell her not to."

"How am I going to get Fiona alone without it looking suspicious?"

"When they come over we'll order a pizza, and I'll go pick it up and insist that Katie comes with me. That should give you enought time to talk to Fiona."

"Thanks, Ike! You're the greatest!"

"I know. Now wash the dishes."

The boys finished cleaning up the dorm, and two hours later the girs arrived.

"Hi, Ike," said Fiona when Isaac answered the door.

"Hey, babe," Isaac said and gave her a kiss.

"Hi, Taylor," said Katie.

"Hey," Taylor said nervously.

"Well, I was gonna order a pizza," said Isaac. "What do you guys like?"

"Just cheese," said Fiona.

"Same," said Katie.

"Okay," Isaac said and got on the phone to order the pizza. "Okay, I'm gonna go pick it up," he said when he got off. "Katie, will you come with me?"

"Sure," said Katie, and the two of them went out the door.

"Fiona, I gotta talk to you," said Taylor as soon as they were gone.

"What about?"

"Well, there's this thing that happened and now I feel so guilty about it and I'm going crazy!"

"Okay, just calm down. Let's sit down and we can talk about it."

The two of them sat down on the couch.

"Now, tell me what's bothering you," said Fiona.

"I've been cheating on Katie!" Taylor blurted out.

Reva's flight landed, and the first thing she did was go to the bathroom to change into her new dress and re~apply her makeup. Then she collected her bags and rented a car. She drove for about an hour until she got to McKeesport. By this time it was quarter to three.

It was easy to find Penn State. It was one of the main attractions in McKeesport. Reva went into the dorm offices and asked for Isaac's room number, which the receptionist gave her without any questions. Isaac's room was on the third floor which would make her plan harder to carry out, but nothing could stop her now.

Reva toom the elevator to the third floor to see where room 329 was. It was at the end of the hallway facing the back of the building, which was a good thing. Having gotten the information she needed, she took the elevator back to ground level and exited the building. She then walked to the back of the building and climbed the fire escape whick conveniently led right to the patio os Isaac's dorm room. She climbed onto the patio.

Reva looked into the room from the glass sliding doors. She saw Taylor sitting on the couch with a girl whom she assumed was Katie. Their backs were to Reva. She continued to watch them talk, waiting for the perfect moment to carry out her plan. It was time for Katie to suffer.
