Hi, Bob Coffee here...Thought I'd add my two-penneth to this debate..The
plastic boxes are great and far superior to the card alternative.
Gameboy colour boxes are cardboard and as SNK are competing in the same
market I think that anything that helps the NGPC stand out amongst the
crowd MUST be kept. The robust plastic boxes add to the impression that
the NGPC is a QUALITY product and that while titles are fewer in number
than the Gboy they are of a higher standard. To me SNK must consider that you feel as if you are getting a little more for your money with these boxes. I've seen kids in stores pick them up and ask each other what they are. That's because they are unusual and innovative for a handheld machine, They make me feel as if I'm getting 'more' game than just a cut-down version of a full-size console title...I could go on but I see your eyes are closed and you're breathing funny...so I'll go now....bye.. |
