Plastic cases? Who cares? Is anybody going to microwave these things? just as long as the cartridges aren't paper and kick a$$, SNK can do whatever they want. As for lowering the prices? it doesn't affect it all that much. a NGPC game is about 45-55 Canadian and CGB games are between 30-40. NGPC games are expensive for a portables, there's no argument there. If they wanted to really cut down on prices(say 50cents) they could remove the little plastic covers, cartridges are practically indestructible anyways. I used to work at a video game rental store and I jumped on cartridges till the cases cracked like a skulls, spilt drinks on many games and they still work. Remember Pc-engine/turbo graphics games? the cartridge cards? they never broke down, then again nobody really bought it either... er'.. nevermind....
