Darkwind Castle is found high on a mountainside in the northern part of Gor called Torvaldsland. The castle sits far above the valley, and to the east the ocean can be seen. Darkwind can only be reached by the winding road that climbs up it's sister peak, where at the top, a drawbridge spans the two mountains. Only those true of heart who are brave enough to travel this bridge can enter the Homestone of Damon El Damor.

As you approach you can hear the sounds of the sea in the distance. The mountain castle is a fortress unto itself, surrounded by the beauty of untamed nature. The castle sits atop the high mountain and the scent of the fresh sea air wafts up, caressing your senses as you traverse the bridge. Stepping through the tall archway into the inner courtyard, Guests and bondsmaids can be seen as they ready for their journey or prepare to settle in.
