Saiyans are usually a cruel race. They worked under the leadership of Freeza, and conquer planets for a universal trade. They have a unique hairstyle, that once born with it, it cannot be changed. The king of all Saiyans is King Vegeta, and the prince is Vegeta.

The Oozaru stage is reached when a Saiyan with a tail looks up at the full moon. The Saiyan will then increase their size and grow hair all over, and will turn into a giant ape. In most cases, the Saiyan's mind is crazy and is centered on destroying everything around it.

On the Saiyan home-planet, the full moon came out once every eight years.
A Saiyan can control their mind in Oozaru if they go through intense training while in the Oozaru form.
Gohan can control a very little part of his body with his normal mind.
This is reached after going through extreme training and having extreme rage. The rage builds up so much, that it causes the Saiyan to want to kill the enemy even more, thus, pushing the Saiyan's power level even higher. The result, if done correctly, will make the Saiyan's pupils turn green, their face more linear, and their hair will be blond/gold, and spiked up.

Goku was the first to reach this in DBZ, during the fight with Freeza.
Goku was the first Earth-raised Saiyan to become a Super Saiyan.
Goten is the first Saiyan to go Super Saiyan without pushing himself hard.
Gohan's death by Androids #17 and 18 triggered Future Trunks' anger, hence making him a Super Saiyan.
This is not particularly a new stage; it is between Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2. Ultra Super Saiyan increases the upper-body muscle but doesn't increase the leg muscle, and with more weight to carry around, the speed and agility go way down.

Future Trunks goes this form against Cell because he thinks all he needs is power, but in the end Cell tells him that he will only get himself killed because he's to slow.
Vegeta and Goku acquire this form while training in the Time and Gravity Room.
Vegeta was the first to successfully balance out the power/speed/agility fairly. He called himself "Super Vegeta."
This is reached much easier than reaching Super Saiyan. It just requires extra training. Like Super Saiyan, a Saiyan still has to go over the maximum limit. If done successfully, hair will split up into triangular pieces, and will have solidified hair. You can control power/speed/agility. But, if you want a lot of power, you have to sacrifice speed and agility.

For some, this is called the final transformation. By, yet again, expanding the power level beyond the maximum. But, getting to this stage requires A LOT more energy. The only physical difference is that the hair grows dramatically longer, and the eyes have a more fierce look due to the lack of eyebrows. They don't look very muscular, but the strength is in there, believe me.

Gotenks is the first fused character that went to this stage.
This drains the energy very quickly, and resting won't regain any of it, so the Saiyan must fight quickly.
Goku is the only non-fused Saiyan to get to this stage, apart from Brolly.
The Golden Oozaru stage is acquired when the Saiyan has a tail, then looks at the Earth from far away, and then they go berserk and go into Golden Oozaru. With that, they will become a Super Saiyan 4, which you can read below.

Bebi-Vegeta made Bulma make a Brute Ray, and that is how he turned Golden Oozaru.
While looking at the moon, it's light rays acts as the moon's light rays, which turns Saiyans into a Golden Oozaru, which is much stronger then a normal oozaru.
In the Freeza Saga, when Vegeta was telling the legend of the Super Saiyans, it had a picture of a Golden Oozaru.
Oh boy, this is going to be tough. First, the Saiyan must have a tail, being able to go into Oozaru mode. With the enormous power, it turns into the Golden Oozaru. The crazy behavior of the Golden Oozaru causes the Saiyan to go into Super Saiyan 4. The Saiyan has multi-colored pupils, long black hair, a red fur covering everywhere except a little of the Saiyan's chest, and a big red tail. The dim golden aura is still there, only faintly. Personally, I think this process takes entirely too long.

While Goku was in Golden Oozaru, he saw his grand-daughter, Pan, crying, which made him go into Super Saiyan 4.
While this stage is, by far, the most powerful stage, it consumes loads of energy, and the Saiyan will go back to normal in about 10 minutes.
Gogeta is the first fused Saiyan to go to this stage.
