The Pocono Mountain Music Boosters sponsored their first Tournament of Bands-sanctioned marching band field show competition, Music on the Mountain, in October, 1996, and within a few years it became one of the biggest and arguably one of the best on the TOB circuit. In the fall of 2000, the Boosters decided to add an indoor competition to their list of sponsored events, and quickly assembled event which they plan to make the first of many.
