National Programs

Sigma Gamma Rho has a long history of dedicated service to the community through national programs (initiatives) and partnerships supported by the entire sisterhood.  In her 80 year history, Sigma has continued to build new community relationships and create new programming that keeps her in touch with the needs of the increasingly diverse world we live in.  Some of the national programs that Sigma participates in are:

In addition to her own programs, Sigma is an active supporter of many well-established community organizations such as:

• National Association for the Advancement of Colored People

• National Urban League

• National Council on Negro Women

• March of Dimes

• National Pan-Hellenic Council

• Black Women's Agenda

Sigma remains devoted to the education of today's youth through her scholarship foundation, The Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc., National Education Fund.
