Community service is an important asset to Liberty's Future Business Leader's of America Chapter. Liberty's students participate in several community service programs and activities every month. Our most recent community service project was at Donegan Elementary School. The members that participated raised money to purchase gift bags for the students of the English Acquisition Program (EAP). The FBLA members and EAP students worked on skits, role-plays, and poems with the theme of winter. It was voted to volunteer at Donegan Elementary School because the members were persuaded after listening to the guest speaker that Inaugural Banquet that diversity and being bilingual is very important in the business world today. With Liberty's help, the FBLA members gained an understanding of how diverse the world actually is. And most importantly, the students of Donegan had the chance to apply their bilingual skills.
