It is also a founding member of the Phiippine Federation of Chemical Societies, together with the Kapisanang Kimika sa Pilipinas (KKP), the Organic Chemistry Teachers Association (OCTA), the Philippine Association of Chemistry Teachers (PACT), and the Philippine Association of Chemistry Students (PACS) Objectives of ICP   To uphold and elevate the standards of the chemistry profession, and to protect and promote the interests of the profession in the Philippines. To foster and encourage the growth and application of the chemical science by dissemination of chemical knowledge To provide a venue through which chemists could communicate with their colleagues in the areas of specialization
