Well Becca and I are about 3 weeks into the quarter now and things are starting to get crazy. Even though I am only taking two classes I have little time for anything. All I have to say is that calculus is not very easy and I am going to have a lot of work ahead in that class. Other than that school is going well. My Chinese teacher is a lot harder this quarter, but that is good. It is still fun and I can't wait to be fluent in it. I am going to try and go with Becca to China next summer if I can get enough scholarships or get into UW. If not we are still going to try and move there for a year after school. I am thinking about changing my major to mechanical engineering, but I have not decided yet. However, I need to make a decision soon. Engineering would require more classes, but the program at UW is a little easier to get into, but still an excellent program. I am just not sure yet.
As for Becca, she is doing very well in school even with the hard classes. She has also just joined the honors society, which will look great on her transcripts for when she tries to get her masters and doctorate. She wants to be a professor at a college if her writing does not pan out, which I doubt that will happen. She is for sure going to do to China next summer so that she can graduate earlier. She is currently going to a tai chi class 3 days a week, I go with her on Saturdays, and she also is going to a Jeet Kune Do place on Mondays. the master is Taky Kimura. He is a well know martial artist who studied with Bruce Lee. She was lucky to get in because I guess there is a 2-year waiting list, but she knew a guy from her Chinese class that has been going to him for a while and he got her in. Needless to say she really likes it.
That is about all the news for now. I will hopefully update this next week to keep our family updated on our activities.
