I would have expected that such a TV station network such as yours channel 7 known also as Southern Cross TV would comply with these lawful facts so as to at least correct these facts in reporting the correct stature about The City of Palmerston in that the fact it is a " CITY " rather than what you have been doing on air in refering to it as just " Palmerston " for the last 7 years.

I find this lack of professionalism wanting in many ways and in turn yous are misleading not only the local community and visitors to The Northern Territory but along with having been misreporting stated lawful facts to not only local Territorians but indeed " Nationally across Australia " and through out the world about the true correctness about " The City of Palmerston " with your video and audio internet streaming feeds as well.

Indeed I have had cause in the past to take to task " The Northern Territory Government " some years ago 22 Jan 2002 over such matters concerning the geographical placement of " Palmerston " as well as the " NT tourist industry " for not also putting the geographical placement of " Palmerston " on the map/maps so just on this one matter alone as to the true correctness concerning these matters which I endeavoured to have these matters corrected fully.

Even as to the fact why the name of " PALMERSTON " was not also on most Australian maps at all and the ones it was on was showing Palmerston written in Silhouette and yet other such small places such as the hamlet of Humpty Doo are written in bold letters.....This is down right odd!.

In that Palmerston and " The City of Palmerston " be placed on all the Northern Territory maps for the first time in which these matters were to have all been addressed by Mr. Greg Heron Manager, Land Information Centre NT Dept of Infrastructure, Planning & Environment for the Government of Northern Territory.

It also has to be noted here too that I was the first person in the Northern Territory to have put Palmerston and The City of Palmerston on the map as well as the internet in having shown my support by putting these facts on some of my own web sites over many years well before your TV station came to The Northern Territory.

As indeed not even the then Palmerston town council or the New " Palmerston City Council " had a web sit up at that time.

I would now take issue with you and your TV station network in yous having been failing to observe these facts and rules of law along with yous having been feeding the incorrect information into the Australian and World wide Multi media networks over these many years in having been over looking these facts and failing to comply with the acts of compliance.

The fact is that there are only " Two Citys " in the whole of the Northern Territory and I would have expected at least yous could get them correct rather than what yous have been doing to date.

There is a Palmerston in Queensland and a further two Palmerstons in the North and South Island of New Zealand but there is only one " City of Palmerston " in the Northern Territory.

I also see too that on your local TV Broadcasting and Multi medium level in reporting the weather forecast feeds and that of the Northern Territory weather bureau that yous keep bypassing " The City of Palmerston " continually ....Why is that?.

Instead yous have refered to the small hamlet such as Humpty Doo and other surrounding out landing areas instead.
