In what Power & Water themselfs stated it to be an " Emergency " let alone their own lacking in their own lines of communication with in Power & Water and indeed their own response time " TIMES "in that times given to me by Power & Water had come and gone through out the day and there was NO response from Power & Water by phone to me the customer what so ever after the customer having been with out power for some 6 hrs after they were given my customers details address and phone number as to where to contact me on 3 occasions during my request for assistance to them today.

In that I gave it once to " Name with held " and then again to " Name with held " and also to " Name with held " who seemly did not know where the contractor was ?.

What ever happened to Power & Waters own emplyees ?.

I " Name with held " also find this " Name with held " to be a changed man from when he first came here on the 8-August-2008 with his supervisor ( " Name with held " ) in which he stated clearly in front of us all when indeed the meter did do what we stated it to be doing infront of them at that time when asked by his supervisor Jenny Thomas did he know whats going on he stated that he did not know why the meter was taking the 1 to 2 cents nor did he know why it also took the $1 and did not show it up on the meter he stated also this in front of his own supervisor ( " Name with held " ) and my wife as I was also in ear shot of what was taken place and it has also to be noted that the main power switch in the house was turned off through out all that time its also to be noted that I dont see his supervisor ( " Name with held " ) having a problem accepting these facts so why does he.

We find this sort of abuse and belligerence unwarranted and ( Power & Water ) lack of response dangerous in many ways let alone costomers safety.

We can but only hope that perhaps there will never be a life threatening emergency as we have taken note of the likes of what we have seen today concerning a simple request for assistance concerning a meter box let alone any customer even trying to contact Power & water here in the Northern Territory let alone them lying to customers as to their own appointed response time/times that were given by them which came and passed all of which leave much to be desired if nothing else.

We also note that the Power & Water meter box S/N " with held " made by Electrocard Meter in the UK we would wonder as to why its not made in Australia seeing the fact how Power & Water has posted themselfs as being a Northern Territory Government Authority in the section of the Australian white pages along with some of their ID cards.

We would also wonder as to why The Northern Territory Government along with Power & Water as being apart of the Northern Territory Government have not got an address or depot in our own City of Palmerston for such emergency seeing to of the fact its is a CITY only one of two citys in the whole of the Northern Territory as only we know far too well what your Northern Territory Department of Infrastructures been up to on that point.

We have also taken note of this lacking over these many years by the Northern Territory Government and Power & Water in there some what bigger than life attitude that they would like to project in having been coming out of some of their personal in which are supposedly Northern Territory Government workers in which we as Northern Territorians and Australian tax payers pay their wages and all on going costs does not also say much for your legals in which thy too will have to come to terms with what they have been a part of too.

One final point on matters concerning the morning of wednesday 6-August-2008 at yourPalmerston City Office in thats the first time I contacted Power & Water at 9am as to my request for assistance the first girl was very pleasant to me in that she also took my name and correct address and phone number details and she stated that some one will have to come out and see to this as she stated also she will now send them an email as I logged my complaint about the fact of their power meter box taking 1 to 2 cents every time I put in a card and I want some one to come out to let me know whats going on I was told by the girl at front counter that they would send some one out.

I there for walked out at that point.

On the Thrusday 7-August-2008 I once again had to go to your Palmerston City Office since all day yesterday no one from Power & Water came out to my address or even contacted me.
