Also seeing to of the fact that that on the 7-August-2008 your power meter still was taking the 1 to 2 cents off with out giving the correct credit in the power card which I put into the meter and the meter was in a state of having credit still on the meter when I put the card in.

So I was out to get my money back and I wanted to also know why your meter is taken 1 to 2 cents every time I put a card in the meter when the meter is in credit.

The fact is that on 7-August-2008 I had to go off at another girl I had spoken to in the front desk that morning as since wednesday 6-August-2008 morning when I had requested in person at your Palmerston City Office for assistance in which Power & Water have keept insisting in calling Palmerston I did request for one of your tech’s to come out to my address as there is a small problem with the power meter and I want to know whats going on.

But since then now today the 8-August-2008 the meter box just took $1 off me for nothing in it did not give me the full credit for my $5 card and I want my dollor back as I am fed up with this.

This second girl now 8-August-2008 at your Palmerston City Office was very belligerant as I stated my case in that I met with a lot of belligerance from this female employee at your Palmerston City Office in what she stated that they can and can’t do ! and it was only a $1.
It was the last straw for me in that I had already been lied to since yesterday the 6-August-2008 I had to go off at her on Thrusday the 7-August-2008 as I wanted this matter looked at and fixed at that time and I now wanted my $1 back.

I am paying for all this crap and not getting what I am paying either as to also to her attitude is the fact that who is she to tell me that my power consumption is or is not in even it being compatable to the same as last year etc.

I would point out the fact she would not and did not know who was or who was not staying at my home last year and what did last years pre paid consumption have anything to do with my corrent complaint at the present time or for that matter concerning my current request for assistance as the meter just took my $1 and I want it back.

That information of consumption is mine as I paid prepaid.

Why should this sort of belligerance even have to be the case at all ! ....I have got far better things to do with my time and money in rather being expected to put up and pay for this abuse coming form a person that is getting paid to do a job and clearly is not.

Also to the fact that on the 8-August-2008 that’s when Power & Water did turn up in which my husband got a very quick phone call from " Name with held " just prior to them turning up at my home after I waited in most of the last 2 days in which I finaly got to meet ( Power & Water ) as I retured on the bus I could see my husband had meet them also for the first time both in that " Name with held " and " Name with held " came dirctly to the power box with out announcing themself what so ever to my husband in he met them both at the side door after they already had the power box open as was also noted by my son " Name with held " .

I / we are sick of this sort of rednecked long term belligerance attitude coming from Power & Water and we have seen no change in their attitude over these many years of having lived in the Northern Territory even from our contact with them concerning their credit power in their billing of account power at our last premises which was way over the top to say the least for what we had in that small unit at that time.

Its been clearly noted to that our consumption of power has dropped dramatically since having changed over to pre paid in our current premises and that we are in control with out much change in our use or habit of usage of power this in its self raises questions that should be investigated into Power & Water into also their credit billing of accounts.

Perhaps also what is not wanting to be noticed here by ( Power & Water ) is the fact that we are in control and not subject to any more of ( Power & Waters ) threats or intimidations when we had logged a dispute with them when we were on " Credit power " in that if we did not pay the bill regardless of the dispute we would be cut off let alone ( Power & Water ) not wanting to know the dispute let alone do much of anything about in most instances.
