Buffy getting her golf gear on the way to day one...

...headed for the 1st tee at the Captain's Golf Club.

Scott practices his putting.  You can tell by the balls he is a bit off target.

Maybe practice will help "The Chief", Dan and Lerch.

Bob gives Lerch directions to the golf course.  That could be a fatal mistake.

"Harry" the starter is drafted into taking a photo.  Thanks Harry!

Not a bad job Harry -  The 2007 combatants ready to do battle with the course.

Harry gives a few tips on how to score.  Notice - no one is listening but Lerch.

John asks Harry, "Are we ready to tee off yet?"

Scott gives his first tee a mighty swing.

We use the "Group Photo" ploy to distract Gerry as Rich does his thing....

...but Gerry notices that the "Titleist" logo disappeared from his ball.  The jig is up.

Gerry is a good sport and hits it anyway.  His best hit of the tournament!

The 2007 exploding golf ball "Honoree" Gerry was too smart for us, but he was caught making a great swing on video tape.

Note: To view the video again right click on mouse and click on "PLAY".

Fran, John and Mickey wait their turn to tee off.

Buffy gives the ball a smack - - right up the middle.

Bill leaves another one short...

...and Mickey learn too well from Bill and leaves his long!

The secret is Devine Intervention as Fran gets on to drop.

The press corp records the action on the course.

Ed got his money's worth.  A long iron...

...a shorter iron...

...a longish sand shot...oops I missed the ball...

...and a shorter sand shot.  Pretty good form for "The Chief" out of the bunker.

...Bob makes a nice chip shot...

...and Rich shows good putting form.

...but Lerch continues his good play by dropping his put.  Nice putt Lerch!

The 19th hole for a cold one and to hear results.  Buffy & Lerch - the Team to beat.
