Bobble 1 Stitch

Multiple of 4 sts + 3
(Same for base chain)

BASE ROWS
Rows 1 and 2:  BAS.

PATTERN ROWS
Row 1:  Skip first st, BAS into each of next 2 sts, * inserting hook as for Afghan Knit St, work a bobble of dc3tog all into next st, BAS into each of next 3 sts; rep from * to end. Do not turn.

Row 2:  BAS.

Row 3:  Skip 1st st, BAS into next and each st to end including edge st. Do not turn.

Row 4:  BAS.

Row 5:  Skip first st, *Bobble into next st, BAS into each of next 3 sts; rep from * until 2 sts remain. Bobble into next st. BAS into each of next 3 sts; Rep from * until 2 sts remain. Bobble into next st, BAS into last st. Do not turn.

Row 6:  BAS.

Rows 7 and 8:  Same as 3rd and 4th rows.

Bobble 2 Stitch
Bobble 2 Stitch	Bobble 2b Stitch:  Work as given for Bobble 2 but working 1 row of bobbles each in colors B, C, & D.
Multiple of 6 sts + 5

Note:  MB (make Bobble) = using color B (YO, insert hook into next st, YO and draw loop through) 3 times into same st, YO and draw through 6 loops (see special instructions)

Special instructions:  Pattern is worked in color A on every row. Color B is used for bobbles only and is carried LOOSELY across back of work on 2nd and 4th rows. Cut and rejoin color B at beginning of each bobble row.

Row 1:  BAS.

Row 2:  With 1 loop on hook, work 1 BAS into next st, MB into next st, *1 BAS into each of next 5 sts, MB into next st; rep from * to last 2 sts. BAS into each of last 2 sts. Return using A ONLY.

Row 3:  BAS.

Row 4:  With 1 loop on hook, 1 BAS into each of next 4 sts, *MB into next st, 1 BAS into each of next 5 sts, rep from * to end. Return using A ONLY.

Row 5:  BAS.

Multiple of 2 sts + 3

Note:  MB (make bobble) = (YO, insert hook into next st, YO and draw loop through) 3 times into same st, YO, draw yarn through 6 loops.

Row 2:  With 1 loop on hook, work 1 BAS into next st, *MB into next st, 1 BAS into last st.

Row 3:  With 1 loop on hook, *MB into next st, 1 BAS into next st; rep from * to end.
