Purl Stitch

Make a chain of desired number of sts.

Row 1:  *With yarn at front of work, insert hook from back through ch with yarn under hook and draw through a loop. Rep from * to end of ch retaining all sts on hook.

Row 2:  BAS.

Row 3:  *With yarn at front of work insert hook from right to left though vertical st of previous row. YO and draw through a loop. Repeat from * to end of row.

Row 4:  BAS.
