Note:
- 3 St Triangle = on FORWARD row, work 1 ADC into previous st 2 rows below, work 1 BAS into next st, work 1 ADC into next st 2 rows below, YO, draw through 3 loops. RETURN as follows: YO, draw through 2 loops.
- Afghan Stitch Double Crochet (ADC) =
1) Ch 2 for the 1st stitch at beginning of the row. YO and insert hook into the next st as if working a BAS.
2) YO and draw loop through.
3) YO over and draw through two loops on hook.
4) Leave remaining loop on hook.
Row 1: Using A, BAS.
Row 2: Using B, with 1 loop on hook, work BAS into next st, *skip 1 st, work 1 BAS into next st, skip 1 st, work 1 BAS into each of next 3 sts. Rep from * to last 5 sts, skip next st, work 1 BAS into next st, skip next st, work 1 BAS into each of last 2 sts. RETURN AS FOLLOWS: YO, draw hook through 1 loop, YO draw hook through 2 loops, *ch 1, YO, draw hook through 2 loops, 1 ch, (YO, draw hook through 2 loops) times. Rep from * until 4 loops remain on hook, ch 1, YO, draw hook through 2 loops, 1 ch, (YO, draw hook through 2 loops) twice.
Row 3: Using A, with 1 loop on hook, work 1 BAS into next st, skip next sp, work 3 st triangle, skip next sp, * work 1 BAS into each of next 3 sts, skip next sp, with 3 st triangle, skip next sp; rep from * to last 2 sts, work 1 BAS into each of last 2 sts. RETURN AS FOLLOWS: YO, draw hook through 1 loop, YO draw hook through 2 loops, *ch 1, YO, draw hook through 2 loops, 1 ch, (YO, draw hook through 2 loops) 3 times. Rep from * until 4 loops remain on hook, ch 1, YO, draw hook through 2 loops, 1 ch, (YO, draw hook through 2 loops) twice.
