PGSM - Act Twenty-Eight
Human Luna gives the recap. Being showered in the power of the Mystical Silver Crystal in Act Twenty-Five or so, gave her the power to transform into a senshi herself.
She's a little cat, so she's a little senshi.
The MSC also allowed Luna to regain all of her memories of her previous life, so now she's going to do a better job at training the girls.
But, when she sneezes , she turns back into her plushie-cat form, as she demonstrates.
Last Episode, Darkury had also shattered Sailor Moon's wand, and Sailor Moon collapsed, unconscious.
Ami takes control once she realizes what she has done, and she frantically tries to wake her.
Darkury has been sitting there, holding her friend since the last episode, her eyes blankly staring off into space.
Kunzite has to physically pick her up and drag her away, but she just crawls back over to her fallen friend.
Kunzite swirls his cape and teleports the two of them back to the Dark Kingdom, while Luna-the-cat watches helplessly.
Theme song - there's a new one! It's not dramatically different, but things are rearranged a bit.
In the Dark Kingdom, Kunzite can't find Mercury anywhere. She broke away from him during the teleportation.
Ami and Usagi are in a misty forest, next to a waterfall. Ami is wearing pink and Usagi is wearing blue. I think that's symbolic.
Usagi is also still unconscious.
Ami's tears fall on Usagi's face and she starts breathing again, slowly opening her eyes. She smiles when she sees Ami hovering over her.
Ami bursts into tears and hugs Usagi's head a bit too tightly.
Kunzite is watching this, in an image that appears on his sword. Sailor Moon has broken the spell on Mercury.
That doesn't bother him too much, at least they're trapped in the Dark Kingdom now.
Usagi and Ami are wandering around, searching for a way out, alternating with Usagi trying to cheer up Ami.
Ami rips the dark transformation bracelet off her wrist and throws it away. She's not upset because Usagi was hurt - she's upset because she is the one that hurt her.
Usagi tells her that it wasn't her fault - she was under a spell. She takes Ami's hand and leads her on.
But Ami can't forget what she did... how horrible she was.
Kunzite sets up some pieces on a chess board. Two white pawns for the girls, and a black piece that I can't tell which one it is.
As he does so, a youma appears. Usagi pushes Ami out of the way and calls out her transformation phrase... her locket blinks, but she doesn't transform.
Usagi hauls Ami to her feet and runs.
Kunzite just watches.
Luna-the-girl runs into Crown to tell Makoto and Rei that there is big trouble.
Then she remembers, based on their reactions, that she still sorta hasn't told them who she is.
Suddenly, Rei figures it out.
Luna sums up what happened. Ami has returned to normal, and now she and Usagi have been taken by the enemy.
Then she takes a nap.
Rei says that they'll need to get help from Venus and Artemis - and she knows how to find them.
By now, Usagi and Ami have realized that they are just running around in circles. And the youma is waiting for them.
Kunzite sets another one on the board. For some reason, this causes an earth quake.
Even Beryl notices and she asks Jadiete what Kunzite is up to. But she decides to let Kunzite have his fun, as long as he gets the MSC.
Meanwhile, Minako is doing a special appearance at a radio station.
Rei has taken Makoto there. Makoto, as we know before, is a Minako fan, so she's pretty excited to find out, although minorly miffed at Rei for not telling her.
Minako glances out the window to see something else besides her adoring fans - Rei and Makoto.
From the look on their faces, she can tell something's up, so she nudges Artemis out of her bag, while she pretends to listen to the radio announcer.
Artemis goes with Makoto and Rei to where Usagi and Ami were last seen.
Artemis says that the door that they went through should still be there.
They know it is this building because all the fights take place in this building.
They hurry inside to find out that they're in the basement... and the door to the machine room leads out to a hallway that seems to be having trouble with gravity.
Kunzite wasn't very tidy when he teleported this time, and he distorted the building.
But they have to find the lobby to find the doorway.
Finding the lobby has just become more complicated.
Makoto tucks Artemis into her shirt and they take off at a run.
Meanwhile, Usagi and Ami are still rolling down the hill that they started rolling down when Kunzite created the second youma.
They've ended up back where they started, and right where Ami threw her transformation bracelet
Ami thinks this is all her fault, and she stays on the ground.
She says that she cannot leave her - that's why they're going in circles.
Usagi tries to tell her that nobody blames her - that they're all still friends.
But Ami doesn't think that's possible, and she tells Usagi to go on by herself. Ami's just slowing her down.
Usagi's stunned for a moment and then she yanks Ami to her feet and drags her alone.
Ami is the only one that thinks that they can't be friends, and Usagi is bound and determined to knock some sense into her.
They've always been friends - always! Ami needs to realize that
Ami gathers herself and hits Usagi over the head. No they have not always been friends! Right before Ami was taken, everyone started to go their separate ways, and more often than not, Ami was left alone at Crown. They weren't acting like friends...
That silences Usagi.
They stare at each other for a moment until a youma interrupts the mood, so they run off.
Kunzite watches the pawns move across the board and he sets a third youma down, while Nephrite watches from the shadows.
Ami and Usagi are now climbing a mountain type thing while Makoto and Rei are checking every single door in the building.
It's true that they've been changing, but they can still be friends. Just - different than they were before.
Usagi and Ami reach the top... to find they're back where they started.
Ami has suddenly turned back into her former self. There was a way in to this forest - that is the way out. Rather than searching for another way out, they need to go back to the beginning.
This time, Ami leads the way back to the waterfall.
Makoto and Rei hurry up the stairs from the second floor to the first floor.
They find the lobby just as Ami and Usagi find the waterfall. They see each other through the portal, call out each others names and reach out their hands to each other - Ami included.
When their hands touch through the portal, Ami and Usagi appear in the real world.
Kunzite and the youma followed them through.
All girls call out their transformation phrases.
Mercury's transformation sequence is played first - full length. Then the other three in split screen.
Kunzite politely waits until they've finished their speeches and poses before attacking
He seems to be targeting Moon and Mercury, leaving Mars and Jupiter for the youma.
He's about to hit... something... when a golden chain snags his sword.
It's Sailor Venus! (She finished the interview)
She tells everyone to take their tambourines - their Sailor Star Tambos - and use it to combine their power.
Mars and Jupiter pull theirs out (I wonder where they were keeping them) but Mercury just looks confused.
Luna-the-senshi hurries in and tosses Mercury hers.
She gazes at it for a moment, promptly understands completely what it is and joins the others.
Sailor Moon raises her newly repaired moon wand and collects the power from the other four, who are shaking their tambourines.
It's kinda a cool sequence. Suddenly they are in space, with each of their planets floating past behind them.
Lights from everybody's respective colors form a bow which make Sailor Moon glow as she yells out her attack: Moonlight Attractive Attack! (The sequence is about 15 seconds)
It vaporizes the youma and Kunzite flees.
While they are fleeing, Mercury hears Kunzite's voice.
She turns around to see Kunzite far too close, with his sword raised to strike.
He swings at her, and is blocked by another sword. He turns to see Nephrite standing there, holding Kunzite back. He says that he wanted to get in Kunzite's way.
Kunzite steps back, calls Nephrite an idiot, and vanishes.
The red shitennou turns and looks at a stunned Mercury for a moment before he turns away and vanishes.
Mercury turns to the other senshi - her partners - her friends - her family and she happily declares: "I'm back!"
Group hug! (Even Sailor Mars)
Venus and Artemis just watch happily from a slight distance away. They're not really part of the family yet.
As the theme song plays to finish up the episode.
