The Elephant Rescue Plan

Who Are You: New 3-piece from Newport, formed eighteen months ago and since have received airplay from Radio One's Bethan Elfyn, recorded a session for Radio Wales' Adam Walton and A-listed on Radio2XS.com, and gigged with the likes of The Automatic and The Pipettes.

Our tune 'Fifteen' recently released on the Smalltown America Records Public Service Broadcast 8 Compilation album. Radio One said this about it: First there was 60ft Dolls, then came Skindred, soon after was the GLC - and now there's The Elephant Rescue Plan. Oh yes, Newport's band making machine has come up trumps again, their track 'Fifteen' is all about that awkward age, smoking out of windows, fake ID cards and late nights on the town. Something we can all relate to, with an anthemic sing-along chorus to ice the cake.

Why Should We Come and See You: There will be loud guitars, vocal harmonies, beating drums, killer riffs, pop hooks, alcohol, nicotine, sweat and the possibility of other bodily fluids.

For Fans of / Sounds Like: Nine Black Alps, early Supergrass, Queens Of The Stoneage, 60ft Dolls, Converse daps, Guinness, rock songs with a pop heart.
