Fuse Magazine

For the second article in the NamScene features section, we look at Cheltenham’s newly established Fuse Magazine

Now in its third edition, Fuse Magazine is a free monthly magazine distributed via email on the last day of every month and is the brainchild of freelance graphics designer Andy Tibbs from Cheltenham.

Containing the latest news from the local music scene alongside articles covering more established acts such as the Kaiser Chiefs and the Killers and interviews with those in the know in the recording business, the aim of Fuse is to provide objective and unbiased coverage of new record releases and live gigs by original and in most cases unsigned bands from Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties. Featuring largely guitar based music, Fuse has so far included news, reviews and interviews from a wide variety of bands from a number of different genres including Indie, powerpop, punk and metal.

With a readership already approaching 1000 subscribers including students, gig goers, bands and record labels across Europe, Fuse plans to become a nationally recognised promoter of new music, while also being exciting and enjoyable to read.

Bands wishing to be covered in Fuse can get in touch in a number of ways including sending in a CD, putting the magazine on the guestlist for gigs or doing something that would in general cause some sufficient interest to merit coverage.

Anyone wishing to subscribe to Fuse, or bands looking to be included in the next issue of the magazine should follow the links below:-
