Who Are You: I'm James Gale, a solo singer-songwriter/guitar player, though I occasionally work with a (floating) band. Not that long returned to the public music scene after a long break.
Why Should We Come and See You: TBCYou should come and see me because (so I'm told) my songs reach out to people. They say my lyrics, melodies, voice and guitar playing are all well worth listening to - who am I to argue? :-)
For Fans of / Sounds Like: Well, people have said I bring to mind a lot of different artistes, including Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Ralph McTell, Al Stewart, Glen Campbell, Roy Harper - but I hope I basically sound like me. I certainly don't consciously style myself on anyone else, even when I'm doing covers - which doesn't actually happen an awful lot, because I've got nearly 100 of my own songs to deal with!
