Who Are You: We are the notorious Puppy Bucket & Donny Choonara, a kind of pop-grime oufit with an experimental and punky soul and a body of stupid, surreal and honest lyrics.
We have a cd out called 'Past Away' which you can get in HMV, released on our own label Elbandito Recordings. It's kind of a collection of the best bits of what we've done up till now and also features a lot of our friends like Galen and d.ash. We are working on our first proper album at the moment which we hope to have finished in the next couple of months, we're using lots of synths and it's sounding very fizzy and meaty - like a fizzy meat.
Why Should We Come and See You: Live, we usually consist of 3 - 5 people; the aforementioned Don n' Pupps on the mic, Galen on the bass, plus Laptops, Samplers and random instruments such as Recorders, Theremin and Harmonicas. The band once played with an Inflatable Sex Doll dj'ing, alonside break dancers, and have been known to throw out free cheese into the crowd.
For Fans of / Sounds Like: The most common comparison, and one which makes us want to bat our heads against the wall until our brains come out our eyes is The Streets. We like to think we're more a Dizzee Rascal / Beastie Boys / Aphex Twin / Cassetteboy / Chris Morris sort of thing.
