History of the Night:
Well it is all in the really early stages at the moment, I have almost sorted out my first line up and it is hopefully going to be on the 17th of October.
Motivations Behind the Nights:
The main reason for doing this is because I have always complained about the Gloucestershire music scene (even though it isn't awful, but I'm sure you agree it could be better) so I have decided to actually get off my arse and do something about it and at least put on a few good gigs that people might want to come to.
Typical Acts:
Oooo bands that I want. Anything from punk/ska, metal, emo, indie and more happy stuff that is quite poppy. Anyone can email me and ask them to check some songs out / send a demo to me but unless I feel 100% confident about a band I won't put them on. If I like them I will check them out at another gig they have but as I dont have loads of slots at the moment I cant just hand them out to everyone that asks.
Venue:
I'm not planning on putting all my gigs on at the Hub unless they go really well because I think there are other venues that have great potential as well. I will hoepfully be organising a metal alldayer / normal gig with a friend who is putting on gigs at the Welsh Harp at the moment.
