Crow #1
*Rain
pouring outside*
Girl's voice: My name is Crow. I am 17 years old. I don't talk much. In
fact, I keep to myself. Maybe it's best that I did. People wouldn't
understand my anyway. Thus my silent and loner ways. Therefore, I am
alone.
*Crow walks up the stairs to her apartment*
Crow: My father abandoned us years ago. And we haven't heard from him
since. Hell, I'm not sure if he's still alive. Anyway, my mother was so
hurt that she fell into a daze.
*Crow opens the door*
*A lovely looking woman looks out in a stupor*
Crow: *To woman* Hi mom.
*Woman doesn't answer*
*Crow kisses her mother on the cheek and walks to her room*
*Woman turns her head*
Crow: I have my own problems. I am anorexic. I have been one for three
years. I would get help, but I don't know where.
*Crow drops her bag on the floor*
Crow: Don't pity me. I know of others who are worse than me. I will
tell you all you need to know.
*Crow walks to her bathroom*
Crow: In my class, there is a girl named Elis. She is 17 yrs. old just
like me. The girl has it worse than me. The kids in our class call her
the "School Whore" because she has been raped so many times. I'm lucky
I'm still a virgin. But that's not all for her. Elis's parents divorced
when she was only twelve. Then her father remarried. And from what I
hear, Elis's stepmom is a bitch! But Elis is not alone.
*Bathwater is running*
Crow: There is another girl in my school named Mina. She's fifteen.
Now, she seems normal but, she has a lot of problems with her single
mother. And I mean A LOT of problems. They fight all of the time. Thus
Mina staying in my apartment nine times out of ten.
*Crow takes her clothes off*
Crow: Mina still has in good. She has a boyfriend named Ricky. He is
fifteen with a drug problem. Ricky's fighting against it but so far,
he's losing badly.
*Crow climbs into the tub*
Crow: But Ricky is not abusive. But Roger, Elis's 19 yr. old boyfriend
is. I pity poor Elis.
*Silence*
Crow: Then, there's Yumi. She is 14 yrs. old and three months pregnant.
The father? Her 14 yr. old boyfriend, Steven. The boy is an alcoholic,
just like his father and his parents are divorced. Steven's mom is
having trouble dealing with his drinking problem.
*Crow slides down*
Crow: then there are the twins Adam and Savannah. Adam is a shy guy who
loves Elis and wants to help her, but can't because of Roger. His
sister, Savannah, has a drug problem too. They are both 17.
*Silence*
Crow: Pete's last on my list. He is 13 with a drug problem. He, Ricky,
and Savannah do it all together.
*Crow comes up*
Crow: They all try to be friends with me, but I'm a lone wolf.
*Door bell rings*
Crow: Mina's here.
*She gets out of the tub, puts on a robe, and goes to the door*
