opens the door. And sure enough, Mina is standing in front of the door*
Mina: Hi!
Crow: Another fight with your mom, eh?
Mina: Yes.
*Both pause for a sec*
Crow: Well, come in.
Mina: Arigato, Crow!!!
*Mina walks into the apartment*
*Crow closes the door behind her*
Crow: Mina always ran away to my apartment when she and her mom got
into a huge fight. i'm not sure what it is, but they seem to fight a
lot. Maybe it's because her father left her for another woman and Mina
tried to defend him. I don't know. And I don't really care. It's none
of my business.
*Both girls walk into the living room*
*Mina walks to Crow's mother*
Mina: Hi sama.
*Mom doesn't answer*
*Both girls walk to Crow's room*
*Woman turns her head*
Mina: Does your mom always keep silent?
Crow: *Without stopping and turning* Yes.
Mina: You're lucky.
Crow: *Mumbles* No.
Mina: Hm?
Crow: Nothing.
Mina: All right.
Crow: She didn't understand. Mina was lucky in reality. How I missed my
mother's voice. Talking to her now is like talking to water.
*Mina flops down on Crow's bed*
*Crow stands in the doorway*
Crow: Mina was one person I could deal with. But soon I would have to
endure more.
*Door bell rings*
*Both girls look up*
Mina: Who's that?
Crow: Dunno.
*Crow walks to the door*
Crow: Who's there?
Girl: It's me.
*Crow pauses in shock*
Crow: Elis?
Girl: Yes.
*Crow opens the door*
*Elis stands there looking beaten with a small pink bag in her hands*
Elis: Can I come in?

Elis: Arigato!!! Domo arigato!!!
*Elis glomps Crow*
