A Gaia like organisation gives the best functioning for the whole. The goal of reaching Gaia gives the best motivation with most righteousness too so that one gets most support from the other nations.
It is ironical that the strongest ones are also the most peaceful ones if one looks from the point of view of the whole, like one should in order to get the at least the main points of each thing straight. They are the ones with the best understandig of how the world works, what is worth defending and working for and what is worth nothing much. Understanding creates motivation and the best strategy. That's why it has the support of others who understand too, of all the moral ones who work for a better world.
