Chapter 2
"It's ok," I lied my home life was more dysfunctional then it ever was right now.
"That's really good to hear, I know your family was going through some hard times," he patted my leg and smiled at me.
Just as I was about to respond Diana and the three boys walked in the door. Zac came in quickly and very quietly, quite unlike him, and said short hellos as he walked up the stairs obviously going to his bedroom. Taylor was next and he was laughing so loud and obnoxiously that it seemed almost fake. Isaac was right after him, but he wasn't laughing he had his head down and was obviously not amused by what Taylor had been amused by.
Even though I have been friends with Taylor for a long time I have always had this strange attraction for Isaac. I also thought Taylor was way to cruel to him sometimes, but I would never say anything. It is not my place.
"So did you guys buy anything good?" their father asked them.
"Oh yeah, Mom bought us all lots of under garments." Taylor said looking at me.
"That's nice," Walker said oddly, probably not seeing why Taylor would want to announce that.
I knew, he knows Isaac and I have a little flirty relationship, so he was trying to embarrass him. "Yeah it's nice for Taylor, He got normal ones," Isaac whispered.
"Oh stop it, there yours now so deal with them," Diana scolded.
"No Mom. It was not only mortifying that you bought these ridiculous underwear, you made me try them on in front of you, but...."
"Hey Isaac, don't lie, you weren't at the store. Mom had to lock you up at the animal shelter for a few hours cause they don't let apes run wild with humans!" Taylor said interrupting Isaac completely.
I laughed a minute amount, but it was more annoying because of the look on Isaac's face. He just glared at Taylor and continued, "BUT!" he yelled still scowling at Taylor, "You absolutely humiliated me on the check-out line!" I really felt bad for him.
"Oh stop it, it was not that bad," His mother told him.
"Not that bad?" he looked shocked.
"Isaac, you needed a new more durable cage. The last one we put you in, you ate threw the bars. I'm sorry but animal control doesn't think it’s safe for you to run around lose with humans," everyone laughed a little at Taylor, which just eggs him on.
"Shut-up Taylor!" he yelled in his face.
"Both of you stop, I want to know what happened?" Walker asked finally stopping Taylor from opening his mouth again.
I didn't say anything I really wanted to hear the story.
Why would this man be following me? I had no clue who he was, I had never ever seen him before What did he want from me? I shivered at the thoughts the flowed through my mind. What the hell do you think a 30 year old man could want from a fourteen year old boy, not to hang out, that's for sure.
Thinking about these things make me even more uneasy. I just had the worst feeling in the world, the vibes I got from him. I tried to get him out of my mind but as I close my eyes all I could see was his stare. I sighed and climb under the covers pulled them to my neck. Maybe if I sleep I'll wake up and I wont remember any of this.
"The Supplies, Mom, remember supplies," Taylor added also hysterical laughing.
I couldn't help it and had joined them during the story about their excursion to the store. If it gets funnier, I don't know if I can take anymore. "Supplies?" Walker asked.
"Yeah, I got him some dog food, some animal toys, a cage, litter box and some litter. You know, cause I'm not quite sure what specie he is so I took all the precautions," I laughed, but it must have been so embarrassing.
"No, it got even better. When Taylor came over to the check-out counter, he tried to make me buy it in front of everyone on line."
"Yeah, that was sooo funny," Isaac said rolling his eyes.
He wasn't laughing. I did really feel bad for him. Then someone tapped me on the shoulder and Taylor was standing right behind me holding up a bag, "Here, this is for you," he smiled as I took it from him.
"Gee, thanks Taylor, that's so sweet," I told him.
I pulled the object out of the bag and looked at him oddly. "A flee collar?" I asked him.
"Oh, yeah, I give them to all Isaac's friends. We don't really know what critters he has walking around on his body," Isaac reached over and smacked him hard on the arm, "Becareful Isaac, those claws could really hurt someone." I choked away another laugh.
"Oh Taylor did you get the preparation H for him?" Diana cut in.
"Of course, Mom," he smirked. I didn't even want to know.
"Walker, Isaac has hemorrhoids. I don't know why he didn't tell us." Oh my god this was way to much for me. I thought about leaving the room.
"Really? That's nothing to be embarrassed about," Walker told him.
Isaac's eyes were growing wider and wider. This was really a turn off, not that I'm turned on by Isaac or anything. "I DO NOT HAVE HEMROIDS!" he yelled.
His face was red and I could tell he was getting very angry. "Isaac, there is nothing to ashamed of," his mother said obviously surprised at his outburst.
"This is not me ashamed," he was pointing to his face, "This is me telling you my butthole is not clogged." I almost choked when he said that.
Wow, a very disturbing mental image. "Except for that man that was in it last night," Taylor whispered to him so only Isaac and I could hear.
"No, Tay that's the way you like it," Isaac retorted and Taylor snorted.
Isaac must have finally hit a soft spot. "I'll see about that, I'll look at them later," Diana told them.
"He was gonna buy you a bra," Taylor just said to me.
The look in his eye had changed, he was out for blood. My head looked over at Isaac, that was so not cool. "You bought me a bra?"
"No! I would never do that!" he said trying to get me to believe him.
"Yeah, he was gonna get you a 36A, but he thought it may be too big!" I was totally insulted whether it was true or not.
I pulled my cardigan closed tightly around me so he could not see my chest. "Isaac, is that true?" Walker asked him angrily.
He hated when any of his children were disrespectful, but I always got the feeling that he was a little weird about Isaac and me flirting, even if it was harmlessly. "No, Taylor's lying!" Isaac screamed.
"He better be or we are gonna have a serious talk!"
Isaac looked at me, "Cassie, that is completely not true," he was pleading with his eyes that I would believe him.
I didn't know what to say. I was so hurt and mortified that I really had no desire to even be in the house and I never want to go home. "The bra wasn't for you Cassie, I swear! I was gonna buy it for Taylor!" This was just getting way to weird for me.
I needed to leave. "Ummm, you were gonna buy a bra for your brother?" I was really, really disturbed.
"No, I..." he looked like he didn't know what to say.
"I don't want to know," I told him holding up my hand.
"Cassie, please, I can..."
"No, Isaac, don't," The room had grown quiet and Taylor suddenly leaned in and whisper in my ear.
"You know Isaac uses the vacuum cleaner to jerk off. He pretends your giving him head!" I gasped, I had to get out of here.
I looked at Isaac in utter shock. "What did he just tell you?" Isaac was mad.
"I told her about you using the vacuum cleaner when you need to, you know, play with yourself," Taylor told him and I thought Isaac was gonna lunge at him.
He was gonna say something to me, but his mother cute him off. "Isaac, you are so dead if a word of that is true," she told him.
This was way to much for me I need to get the hell out of here. "I need to go," I told them.
"No Cassie, wait," Isaac said.
"No, I think I just really need to go home," I was rushing to grab all my stuff.
"Can I give you a ride?" Isaac asked.
"No, I want to walk. Good-night everyone," I said, "I'll be here tomorrow at ten Mr. and Mrs. Hanson," I walked out the door, thank-ful to be out of that house and away from Taylor and Isaac.
"I didn't make her leave. You just got to close to her and the smell repelled her. I know tha's what you do to me."
"Shut-up," Isaac wasn't gonna be able to take much more.
"How many times do I have to tell you Isaac, not to bath with hogs," and Isaac just stormed out of the room letting out a agitated sigh and a recurring, "I hate you."
