A quick comment:     Back to Guardians Review Page      Gobots Homepage

This is my first Royal-T action figure and my main reason for purchasing him because he's one of the few 5 Gobots that can fit into the GBP #1 (Gobots Power Suit).  Now I'm glad to have him as part of my collection.  I got him on Nov. --, Mmvi for $XXX (XXXV) from Ebay

Unfortunately the Gobots action figure doesn't come with any motto or tech & spec like the Transformers action figure.

NOTE-1: This review page is meant to give you some ideas about the figure and for nostalgic or sentimental purposes.  I hold no responsibility for your action.  These images were mostly photographed and scanned by me.  If there's a section or image that owned by you and I didn't give you credit, please Email Me and I'll make the correction.  Have fun.

R-1 Royal-T in its Original condition:

royaltorig.jpg (70951 bytes)1 - Royal-T in its original condition.

2 - This is the back of the card.

3 - These are all the contents that were included in the box/ package/ card:  "1" jet.

R-2 Pre-Applied Decals/ Stickers:

There are 4 Pre-Applied sticker that had been applied onto Royal-T.  The first two decals are located on either side of his shoulder.  The last two stickers are on either side of his main wing.

Sticker Sheet:

Unlike the Transformers, none of the Gobots action figure come with sticker sheet.

R-3 Royal-T in Vehicle Mode:

royaltveh.jpg (40197 bytes)In jet mode, Royal-T is a British Harrier Jet which measures approximately 3 1/2 x 3 x 1 (LxWxH in inch).  He comes with 3 landing gears, one in the front and two in the back.  The front landing gear can be retracted out or be hidden into the front nosecone while the rear landing gear is exposed.  Royal-T nosecone tends to fall down from the rest of his body if the shoulder joint does clip tight onto the nosecone or if the nosecone doesn't position all the way deep into the body so check your transformation.

R-4 Royal-T in Robot Mode:

royaltrob.jpg (55796 bytes)Royal-T is most impressive in his robot mode.  He is well balance and looks very cool.  The one thing I like about him is his leg transformation which doesn't suffer the leg compression like some of the  Transformers figures such as Prowl, Bluestreak, Smokescreen and others.  The reason is that in order for the leg to be compressed, you would have to rotate the lower leg at a 90 degree sideway and then the thigh and leg can be compressed into each other.

R-5 Royal-T's Card Art:

GobotsBAroyalt.jpg (63087 bytes)Here's a closed up shot image of Royal-T original card art.  I usually don't include box/card art in my review but because the Gobots card arts are so rare and hardly any website has them, I decided to put into this review.  Unfortunately, almost all the Gobots' card art are cut off due to the bad presentation or arrangement on the card.  It is nearly impossible to find these Gobots Card Arts in any other medium or merchandize as way to get complete drawing since these Gobots arts hardly get produced into other format.  So the only thing we can do as Gobotron fans, is tried to fix these card arts by ourselves.

Special Notes: Here is "1" special note that I think you should know:

1 - Before you compress the thigh into the leg, make sure you rotated the lower leg at a 90 degree outward first.  Otherwise, you cannot compress the leg into his alternate mode.

Overall Grade: [A] - Personally, I thought Royal-T is one of the best Gobots figures.  He looks good in both mode as well as a cool transformation especially the leg.
