you with a deck beneath your feet or the vacuum of space, STARFLEET COMMAND
can
give you a forum for
the free, unencumbered exchange of ideas, views, and beliefs for ourselves
and others.
WE ARE:
An international, non-profit
group of Star Trek, Science Fiction, and Space Enthusiasts dedicated to
the
promotion of the Star
Trek philosophy & to fostering an understanding of Science Fiction
and the need
for peaceful space exploration.
WHAT WE DO:
Our organization began
in 1974 and is patterned after 'STARFLEET COMMAND' as seen on Star Trek.
We encourage and foster
participation in local, regional, national, and international activities.
STARFLEET COMMAND is
at the forefront of Star Trek organizations dedicated to space exploration,
and has
made progress in shaping
mankind's future in space.
Members receive a subscription
to our newsletter, STARFLEET COMMUNICATIONS, a Starfleet
identification card,
duty orders, commissioning certificate, and a copy of the Articles of Federation
(AFED). Initially, all
new members are assigned aboard the Starfleet Academy training ship to
acquaint them with Starfleet
Operations.
