Every now and then the forest ahead opens up to give a glimpse of the sea and the valley below. As you walk along you are so entranced with this beautiful sight you sometimes forget to keep your eyes on the path. You step, and the ground is suddenly half a feet lower than it should be. You stumble. Reach out. Put your other foot down left of the path, into nothingness. You fall. The rocky slope gives you no foothold as you tumble down. You reach out for a rock, banging your shoulder painfully against it. Sliding past. Something brushes your cheek as you fall over the edge. Only air surrounds you. You feel your heart skipping a beat before you crash into a painful heap. Something snaps and a wave of nausea overwhelms you. All light disappear with the world as the pain pushes you into darkness.
