The Day You Stopped Loving Me

The day you stopped loving me was the worst day ever,
Because you always told me I was your every endeavor.
How it hurt, tears never fell down my cheeks faster,
To stop this crying was something I swore I'd never master.

But as each day goes slowly by,
I realize that I won't die.
Forever and a day I will always care
And I still think what you did to me was unfair,
But in some strange way it has helped me to see
The most important thing is getting back to just being me
