A child was I, in life, new light. Direct, intellect, to Pater's delight.
A violin, youth's gift, taken in spite.
Mater's decision, curb the light.
Read this 'n' that, gain insight.
Adolescent youth, to Pater recite.
Paper meet pencil, beauty took flight.
Mater's choice, enslave light's sprite.
A Poet's Dream, inspired in daily plight.
Encourage art 'n' prose, the light may write.
Countless words, take paper, respite.
Discourage this light, mater incite.
Age now centered, a light still bright.
Verse and words, from paper take flight.
Ne'er light enslaved, mater despite.
Burn light bright, for Pater's delight.
Days flow on, twilight age, dims light.
What beauty light wrought, for all respite.
Pater, mater, just dust, in memory old light.
Light Poetry to read, my life's delight.
