Peer out a frosted window, On a minus 20 degree day. Wonder at the sunlit snow, And drifting flakes at play. Wispy clouds float on by, Come outside they say. Spend a winter's day with us, Let sunshine lead the way. Trapped behind that frosted glass, Where physician command me stay. The weather beyond, cold 'n' harsh, Beware the wind-chilled ray. An illness deep in summer's blood, Fears winter's chill today. So, I peer out a frosted window, On a minus 20 degree day. Wish to step on sunlit snow, Among drifting flakes at play.
