Yes, Aaron Carter's older brother, Nick, is a Backstreet Boy. And, yes, Nick makes a cameo on the title track of "Oh Aaron" (Jive), little brother's follow-up to last year's platinum "Aaron's Party (Come and Get It)." But that doesn't grant the elder sibling immunity from pranks. "When they're asleep, my brother and my manager, I put shaving cream in their hands and tickle their noses and they smash it into their faces," says Aaron, 13. 'I know how to get away . . . fast."
Aaron hopes that fast is how fans take to "Oh Aaron," a 10-song collection of bouncy bubble-gum pop that also features a second shot from Nick (on "Not Too Young, Not Too Old") and guest appearances on two songs by the vocal group No Secrets. Aaron, meanwhile, says his first album's success hasn't gone to his head, either. "There's a lot of hard work, definitely," he notes. "I just want to stay toward the ground, not look up to the sky, not get bigheaded. You know what I mean?"
And if you want to catch a glimpse of Aaron's other main interest, check out the CD's photos of the teenybop hearthrob cavorting with dolphins. "I'd like to be a marine biologist someday," he says. "I just love it a lot, and it's really cool. I have a very big fascination with the ocean. Sometimes @I'll catch some fish and take them and cut 'em open, look inside 'em. I have a big aquarium at home, too."
