Way  back  in  the   Summer  of  1992,   KP  Hussain, a  well  known   businessman  of  Gandhinagar
had a  brainstorm  that  made  him  develop  a   no-man's  land  near  Chemmanampady  into a lodge.
Despite adverse  comments  questioning  the  viability  of   such  a  venture,  he  plodded  on,little
aware  then  that  his  humble  plot  would  soon   be  housing  the  liveliest, craziest  n'  perverted
bunch  of Medicos ( young  n' old )  the  land  had  ever   known - the  PRIYANS !!!!

This  page  is a tribute to that  '(un)holy'  home  of   their  antics  all the  way to  the  end of  1998.

PRIYA ( as  the  lodge  will  henceforth  be  referred   to ) is  situated  off  the   Chammanampady
Junction,  posterior  to  Hotel  Ambily  on  the    Gandhinagar - MCK  route.  Initially  begun  as  a
humble  16  room  building  on  3rd  February  1993   it  expanded  to  32  rooms  in  3  years   time.
Among  the  'perks'  KP  Hussain offered  were  attached   bathrooms, well  maintained  tubelights,
stone  benches,  NO  plugpoints  ,NO  TV  and  NO   mess ( who's  complaining  anyway? ).
