Well what can we say. Penfold is a complete and utter C**t who couldn't get of his bony backside or lift his finger to write his biog and so rather stupidly allowed us free reign to put whatever we thought appropriate (obviously he's not the brightest spark in pack). So without further adoo

Penfold, who hails from West london, began listening to pirate radio stations at the tender age of 12 and was immediatly hooked by the strange energetic music known as hardcore. It was also at this time that he saw a feature on the saturday morning childrens TV program "what's up doc?" about hip hop Dj's, which inspired him for all of a day. It wasn't long until he started that most nefarious of addictions -buying records- and he was soon on that slippery slope to Dj'ing.

The bug bit hard after a two week stint borrowing his brothers mates sondlab DLP3's during the summer of 93 and after doing random odd jobs and saving for a year he finally managed to save up for a pair of technics. Consequently he didn't get to touch them for two weeks solid due to his elder brother and mates hogging them. However the last laugh was his as the first mix he did was bang in time...

It was another two years before he got another one in...

around 95 he started working as a mobile DJ in the london area and hanging around the then newly formed Kinetec records, where he resolutely (and quite rightly) got the absolute piss taken out of him for liking happy hardcore. It wasn't long before he was playing at squat parties in the london area for the kinetec sound system and others such as Devience and undeground sounds (basically wherever he could blag a set). By now he had moved onto acid techno and trance and (with much annoyance to promoters) started trying to fuse together hardcore, happy hardcore and jungle into his predominantly techno sets...

Throughout he has maintained a predilection for Breaks based music with a ravey vibe to it and at current tends to play a mixture of old school hardcore and new school breaks.

Events played at include It's all bollocks @ brixton Academy, Microcosm, Ultra violet, Human being, Void. Since April 2000 he has been a regular at Raindance and has been made a resident of their "can U feel it?". He has also played at the discerning old school ravers choice Resonance and guested on The DJ delerious old school show on Interface internet pirate radio.
