I like a lot of different kinds of music: rock, pop, soul, r&b and dance (but only when I'm out dancing) just to mention some. I would like to name a few artists here because they have made a special impression on me. 

I used to be a big fan of boybands, especially the Backstreet Boys, but I don't listen to them very much anymore. I still like their music but in a different way than before.

A great discovery for me was some of the "new" bands from the US. Two of the best are Lifehouse and The Calling. I was not only caught by their sound and melodies but their lyrics as well. Their songs are very meaningful and they quickly got a special place in my music heart. 

I discovered some pretty good Australian bands after spending a couple of months down there last summer. Especially Powderfinger and The Whitlams got themselves a new fan, but I was introduced to a lot of cool Australian music I never knew existed. The worst part is that they are not very big in Denmark so I have found it hard (not to say impossible!) to locate their albums in the music stores here.
