To Hot To Handle!

Darnley Devils have now been in existence for one year and looking to strengthen their ranks next year with a huge recruitment campaign throughout the South West side of Glasgow.

The initiative will be lead by Mark Senter (Rugby Football League Development Officer), which will target all the feeder primary schools and high schools in the area with a six week core skills curricular programme and subsequent after schools area league.

A mammoth task in it’s self however the results should prove fruitful for the club with the main focus being on directing the ‘new recruits’ to the club.

New parents group set to increase fund raising for the club

A new parents group was set up on Tuesday 19^th November to address issues concerning fundraising for the club.

They will meet on a monthly basis to discuss ideas and possible sponsorship to take the club forward.

The next meeting will be held at The Darnley Community Centre on Tuesday 7^th January 2003, commencing at 5:45pm. All are welcome to attend.

So if you have any ideas please bring them with you on the day.

Christmas Break

The Club will finish for the Christmas break with the training session on Tuesday 17^th December 2002 training will recommence in the New Year on Tuesday 7^th January 2003. Lets make every effort to have a maximum attendance on return and encourage new players to attend. Merry Christmas and a prosperous Devils New Year!
