Phase One
To implement a curricular programme of
Rugby League at Primary 6 & 7 to all Cluster Feeder Primary Schools and
follow up with after school clubs to join local league.
Identify each schools needs and cater for
accordingly. Coach ed, teacher support etc.
Phase 2
Implement local league
and identify central (local) venue for league to be played at. (Feeder High
schools).
Introduce after school clubs at feeder High schools, identify needs of high
schools.
Introduce City wide league at High school level. S1, S2 ,S3 etc.
Identify talented players in High schools
Phase 3
Form
Community Clubs, identify through parents/teachers volunteers to set up fund
raising etc.
Build
to club management committee.
Enter
club into National League.
Identify Talented players at U13.
Phase 4
Run area (local camps)
for all to attend.
Form
area squads U11 and select talented players U13 – U16 for City Camp.
Play
area squad league for U11.
Run
City Camp to select City Squad for rep competition, Glasgow, Edinburgh,
Fife, Lanarkshire.
Talented players from rep competition at U15-U18 selected for National rep
squad
Phase 5
Continued curricular
support at Primary school, Primary 4 & 5, introduce new age groups to clubs.
Continue Coach education and volunteer recruitment.
Phase 6
Feed central senior
club with talented youngsters from U15-Open age
