SCOTLAND KIDS NEWS Edinburgh lose to Welsh kids On the 3rd June 2002, the Edinburgh Eagles U/11's lost out narrowly to a travelling Welsh Schools side at Broughton RUFC by 42-38, writes Mark Senter, Scotland Rugby League Development Officer. The Edinburgh side, who featured in the curtain raiser to this year Challenge Cup Final at Murrayfield, lead 38-30 with minutes to go, however, the tourists ran in 4 quick tries to snatch victory. The Glasgow Schools Festival took place on Sunday 2nd June and 5 clubs from the Glasgow set-up turned out and played a series of games against a dominant set of Welsh schoolkids. A great day was had by all and thanks go to all the organisers.
