Scotland centre Iain Higgins, who left London Broncos for Hunslet four
years ago, has rejoined the club in time for the new Super League
season.
Higgins, 25, who made eight appearances for the Broncos in 1997-98, has
been given a three-month contract after taking part in the club's
month-long training camp in Australia.
"I hope he makes the most of every opportunity that comes his way. Like
all the players, he certainly applied himself while at the Australian
training camp," said Broncos coach Tony Rea.
During the first of two spells with Hunslet, Higgins completed his law
degree and helped them to victory in the 1998 NFP Grand Final. He also
earned a Scotland call-up against France. |
